Being frugal (or a tightwad) can be healthy in moderation, but unfortunately, most frugal people make one very expensive mistake. They buy cheap food.
How you eat is the #1 investment or #1 mistake you can make.
The quality and length of your life literally depends on the quality of the food you eat. Healthy eating pays off for years, or conversely, eating cheap food will rob you of everything you have in just a few years. Several of history’s greatest minds perished due to a tightwad attitude towards health, diet and wellbeing.
So, go ahead and pinch those pennies as long as you’re saving them to buy “real” healthy food—not cheap processed junk.
Be happy and save your money for the good stuff—It’s the best value there is.
