Which of the following gratitude styles best represents you?
Thank God! – You might come from a religious background. Your gratitude style says you view the things that make you grateful as blessings, and possibly as answers to prayers.
I Manifested This! – You may come from a meditating background. Gratitude for you is more like a mantra to attract more of what you want into your life.
I’m So Lucky! – Your gratitude style shows you appreciate the gift of abundance. Your expectations have been exceeded when you say this statement.
But I Still Need… – You might struggle to feel grateful. When things go right, you want to make sure everything else is going right too.
What are you thankful for? Are you perfectly content in your lifestyle or do you want more? We all have dreams about where we want to go and who we want to become — but basing your happiness around what you haven’t yet achieved can be exhausting and leave you with a lack of fulfillment at the end of the day. Learning to appreciate the good in your life rather than focusing on what could be better can help you keep a more positive outlook and increase your day to day joy.

If you’re still struggling to feel grateful, try this simple exercise:
Give it Up: Consider giving up something that you enjoy for a few days. It could be your morning coffee, your reading time with a good book, or even social media. Consider the little things that you don’t usually think about and cut them out of your life. It may seem silly at first, but pretty soon you’ll probably start missing the thing you gave up. If you miss it, you’re likely to appreciate it all the more when you go back to it. This is a great exercise to get you thinking about the positives you have in your life.
Don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone!
