If someone wants you to do something that is beyond your capabilities or against your values, you can walk away. The people in your life who care about you will likely recognize your respect for your own feelings and in turn respect your choices.
Letting yourself really feel your feelings helps you to become more authentic and, in the long run, allows you to feel your best. Happiness starts with following your heart. Your feelings have value, so express them.
